100T and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Worlds (Worlds 2022 Week 1 Recap)

Worlds 2022 got off to a very rough start for 100T fans as the Thieves tripped at the starting gate. Dropping a game to CTBC Flying Oyster was NOT how we envisioned our first groups outing to go, and the loss painted reasonable efforts against Gen.G and RNG in a darker light. With all NA teams on the ropes at 0-3, there doesn’t seem to be much hope to go around for fans. Jordan and Cole work out the frustrations of watching a beloved team underperform and puzzle about a course of action that could salvage at least some of the mess that we find ourselves in. Barring a miracle run this weekend and some favors from other teams in the group, it looks like our Worlds journey will end on Sunday and what will surely be an extremely active offseason begins. With that in mind, the dads give their advice for how to best enjoy what could very well be the final three games with the greatest 100T roster ever assembled…

100T has managed to climb from 8th place to 3rd place in a matter of a week, and fans are beside themselves. 7 straight wins are making the dads think that this is more than a honeymoon with Nukeduck - it just may be true love. In a matter of two weeks the squad went from looking ahead of schedule and a potential title contender, to looking anemic and lost.
