Bye Locked In, 100T Preps for Playoffs - 100 Thieves LCS Summer Split Week 9 Recap

A loss to TSM sees 100T falling to 2nd place in the last week of the regular season, but still locks in a bye week for the squad rolling into playoffs. A strong showing against GG would be the final regular season match for the starters, as the academy team played a deceptively competitive game against EG to round out the split. Now, with two weeks to prepare, 100T stands poised to make a run at an LCS title. The dads discuss momentum and form and wonder whether it will be maintained over a longer-than-usual reprieve, and discuss the implications of the playoff picture. Next week’s episode will feature a more detailed look at our first playoff matchup of the split!

A win is a win, and a one and one is a one and one. But things still don’t feel all the way right at the 100 Thieves [redacted] Compound. 100T Takes the Nukelear Option - 100 Thieves LCS Spring 2023 Week 6 Recap

100T made big news with their decision to fire head coach Kaas and to let Nukeduck step up as interim head LCS coach after the team turned in what is likely its worst week of League of Legends in the org’s history. Given the presence of established, outspoken veterans on the squad (who are currently underperforming expectations), a lot of fans are crying scapegoat. Jordan and Cole think through what we know and what we don’t know about the situation, and discuss the legitimacy of the changes based on the balance.
